Angels Disguised as Mummies
It's a great line. Kudos and admiration to you Lisa for coming up with it.

OK. This weekend I had the newphew J3 - age 7. He came over Saturday evening. Lisa, coincidentally was babysitting too. She however has placed my user in her "BLOCKED USER" section - I keep getting kicked in the balls and I keep smiling (more like inane grin). The irony is that I am still listed as "friend" under her account - the only friend. It's little nuggets such as this that fuel my paranoia/faith/dream/passion/devotion/craving/crush/infatuation.
I sent her a couple of anonymous texts, a couple of jokes. She liked them and replied. The first reply was to ask who i was, the second reply was to call me "another mobile quack quack". I have texted her before, using the same mobile and told her who I am. She presumably just deleted it and decided not to store the number. I've since texted a few more jokes but now I seem to have found another medium by which she can ignore me.
I even tried good old fashioned writing a few months back :).

Methods of Contact: So I've tried: Writing, texting, emailing, blogging, messaging, phoning, calling, knocking, praying. If you have any methods I haven't tried let me know.

Sunday was like a camping adventure. J3 and I eventually got outside on our bikes only to have the elements turn on us. We set out with the sun shining. J3's mother had not thought to bring a coat and I couldn't get in contact with her. So we set out in fleeces. As soon as we got to the BMX ramps the heavens opened and liquid H2O descended. Luckily J3 knew exactly where to shelter. I began to roll video, intending to show how tough the footy boys were, as they refused to shelter, in the onslaught of the rain. However, as I turned to them, it was to see a mass exodus of the field and the entire footy squad heading to our shelter spot. The shower only lasted 10minutes (if that). However it was enough to turn the ramps slippery and unusable. The sun had disappeared behind clouds, dark clouds. Without the direct rays of the sun on our bodies, it turned cold quickly. J3 wanted 1 race around the cycle track - it was a decision he would regret. By the end of the lap his hands, and mine were chilled. His fleece was cold and so was he. I fished out my gloves for J3 and we headed home.
Hopefully its a taste of the fun to be had this summer. Summers with the kids are less fun when one is fully employed.

The rest of the nephews J1 and J2 popped in later with their mother. My brother and his girlfriend also popped in with their lil child C1 too. He's about 2years old and my glasses were reminded of the power and fascination 2's have with them. So Sunday afternoon and evening were fun too. Socialising :). Lots of pictures and video taken - only thing, as usual, I'm behind the camera :).
